I never would have dreamed that I would spend my entire working career doing something that I loved and embodied who I am. My ability to connect with people and see their inner beauty has made my camera a vehicle to express what’s inside. Many years ago I had an assignment photographing a woman who insisted that she was extremely unphotogenic and I wrestled with how was I ever going to get a portrait she’d be happy with. As the session began and our conversation flowed, I began to see a beautiful woman emerge as her spirit could be seen through her eyes and smile. That was such a powerful moment that it made me realize that my personal mission was to find that beauty in everyone’s eyes and capture it forever.

For over 40 years, I’ve been lucky to have photographed hundreds of children, families, bar/bas mitzvahs, high school seniors, weddings, corporate headshots and special events. I’ve formed wonderful relationships with many of my clients and they continue to call me when new photography needs arise. From film to digital, the photographic field has changed dramatically, and now it’s more important then ever for people to realize the importance of hiring a professional to capture those moments that really matter.

In the course of my career, I have been able to follow another passion of mine, which is travel. I’ve been to nearly 100 countries and in each new destination, the unique scenery and expressive faces have inspired me. I’ve included a gallery on my website which represents just a tiny portion on all the images I’ve captured over the years.
